Terms of use

These terms govern your use of cptaxgroup.com. Using the site means you accept them. They do not create a client relationship with Comprehensive Property Tax LLC, and nothing on this site is tax or legal advice for your specific situation.

No advice, and no engagement

Everything published here is general information about property tax. Property tax law, valuation practice, filing deadlines, exemption eligibility, and appeal procedure vary by state, by county, and by tax year, and they change. Nothing on this site is advice about your property, your returns, or your situation, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice.

Sending an inquiry through this site does not create a client relationship. A relationship begins only when we have both signed an engagement letter describing the scope, the fee arrangement, and the responsibilities of each party. Until then, do not send confidential information you would not want in ordinary email.

Accuracy

We work to keep this site accurate and current, and dates, thresholds, and statutory references in particular are subject to change. We do not warrant that everything here is complete or current at the moment you read it. If something matters to a decision you are making, ask us and we will confirm it against the jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

The content on this site is owned by Comprehensive Property Tax LLC. You may read it, print it, and share links to it. You may not republish it as your own or use it commercially without written permission.

Third-party links

Where we link to a state agency, an assessor, or another outside resource, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or accuracy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comprehensive Property Tax LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this website. This limitation does not apply to obligations owed under a signed engagement letter, which is governed by that agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
