What we collect

Two things. First, whatever you type into a contact form on this site: your name, email address, phone number, company, the services you are interested in, the states you hold property in, and your message. Those fields are transmitted to us by email and are not stored in a database on this website.

Second, standard analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. That collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device type, and browser. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors.

What we do with it

Form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and, if an engagement follows, to carry out that engagement. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the site. We do not sell information collected through this site, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

This site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Form submissions are delivered by email through Amazon Simple Email Service. Analytics is provided by Google. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf and under their own terms.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors from new ones. You can block or delete these through your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

Retention

Inquiry emails are retained in our business email system in the ordinary course. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Where an engagement follows, records are retained as required by our professional and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@cptaxgroup.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights, and we will honor them.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle information submitted through the site will be described here rather than made quietly.
